I'm Dale Slear — an applied AI engineer and systems builder who likes turning messy problems into clean, automated systems. Co-founded and CTOd a DTC wine company, later CIO, now AI & Automation Lead across a five-brand DTC portfolio. I ship production AI systems that drive real business outcomes (not demos) — claims automation, product-data platforms, freight-audit intelligence — and I'm exploring senior IC Applied AI / Forward Deployed roles. - Claims automation — Snowflake detection + a browser AI agent that files carrier claims where there's no API; brought recovery in-house and raised submission from 60% to 99%.
- Product-data platform — the company's first canonical product model + one-to-many publishing across five storefronts; product setup from 10–20 minutes to seconds.
- Freight-audit intelligence — a Snowflake pipeline reconciling weekly carrier invoices against contract rates, with a natural-language interface for exceptions and trends.
